Annotation:  Bones everywhere.  All kinds of bones from human to the two-toed sloth are discussed. Bones are compared to other bones as well as what bones are made of and what their job is for the body.
Personal Reaction: this simply illustrated bare bones text is a visual gift for the reader.  All sorts of bones are discussed and compared.  The illustrations are supported the text.  It is almost as if the book itself is designed after a skeleton with just enough text to support the book.  The facts information at the rear lends even more information for the reader.  This book will be enjoyable for any reader and certainly a good book for science classes.
Illustration:  The collage technique against a plain colored background gives over all the attention to the bones.  The size comparisons from different animals are fascinating and the full illustration of all the bones in the body will grab any young reader as they try to find all their bones.
Use of Media: The collage cut outs are in muted tones and create the exact effect the author desires-all about the bones.
Use of literary device:  Repetition is used through having several same types of the bones from different animals all represented on one page.
